Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1 Purpose & Scope
CuteQRCode and seQR.li were built to restore trust, transparency, and delight to QR codes and shortened URLs. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against malicious, deceptive, and abusive behavior. Any link, QR code, or account violating this policy will be immediately terminated without refund or prior notice.
2 Strictly Prohibited Uses
You may not create or distribute CuteQRCode designs or seQR.li shortlinks that direct to, facilitate, or promote:
Fake login portals, credential harvesters, or deceptive physical QR stickers.
Ransomware, spyware, trojans, drive-by downloads, or unauthorized script execution.
Cryptocurrency schemes, advance-fee scams, and impersonation of banks, brands, or government agencies.
High-volume automated SMS spam, unsolicited bulk email campaigns, or link-farm networks.
3 Automated Threat Defense
Every destination URL submitted to CuteQRCode and seQR.li is continuously scanned and evaluated against leading global threat intelligence feeds:
- Google Safe Browsing: Global detection of phishing portals and malware distribution domains.
- PhishTank & URLhaus: Real-time community intelligence on emerging threat clusters.
- Automated AI Heuristics: Pattern matching against suspicious redirect chains, typosquatting domains, and IP disguises.
4 Reporting & Enforcement
We investigate 100% of verified abuse reports within 24 hours. When a violation is confirmed:
- The offending QR code & shortlink are permanently disabled.
- Scanners are shown an interstitial warning page alerting them to potential danger.
- Offending IP ranges and accounts are permanently blacklisted across our network.
